Playlist Newlester and Manifestation Tip
Your close relationships are mirrors
Be Do Have Playlist: May Newsletter
Hey everyone! Here's what we’re tapping into this month💫
✨ Monthly Manifestation Tip
This month we’re talking about reflection. The close relationships in our lives act as our mirrors, but what does that really mean?
When another person’s behavior triggers us, it can be an invitation to explore what part of ourselves is resonating with that experience and what may still be asking for our attention. There are no “good” or “bad” emotions, all emotions are information. The triggering behavior does not need to express in the exact same way for resonance to occur. For example, when a close friend of mine would self-abandon or make herself small in public spaces, I used to find it triggering or unsettling for some reason. I later realized I had my own self-abandonment pattern. It was just expressing in close relationships where self-sacrificing myself felt like an expression of love, instead of in public spaces like it did for my friend. So outwardly, we had different behaviors and personas, but we were both self-abandoning ourselves, just in different ways.
This matters when it comes to manifestation because we cannot create a new reality with new relationships and new lifestyles, while unconsciously repeating old patterns. If we continue embodying the same beliefs and behaviors, we will continue experiencing the same cycles. To create something new, we must first make the unconscious conscious and choose differently.
Reflection questions for this month:
• What triggers me and why? This could be a behavior, a facial expression, etc.
• What is my response to that trigger and why?
• What would it look like if I checked in with my body before making a decision. Before acting, ask yourself, how do I really feel? What do I really want to say? What do I really want to do? Honor what the body is signalling in that moment.
