Be Do Have: April Newsletter
Hey everyone! Here's what we’re tapping into this month💫
✨ Monthly Manifestation Tip
Hey y’all, I’ve been exploring hypnosis even more heavily lately, and I want to put you on to some really effective ways to work with it.
Why hypnosis? It’s a powerful way to tap directly into your subconscious and become more receptive to new beliefs. You naturally enter a trances all the time, like when you’re daydreaming, driving, or any time you “zone out”. We’re now just accessing it intentionally for our manifestations.
Here are some techniques to help you access a trance state safely:
- Bilateral stimulation: Alternating stimulation on the left and right sides of the brain/body. One of the most powerful tools on this list. Activities like swaying or walking are excellent at calming the body, activating the PNS (parasympathetic nervous system), and help ease you into a trance-like state.
- EFT tapping: Tapping on meridian points like the collarbone area, side of the eye, chin, etc. helps send calming signals to the body. Continue this tapping for the duration of your hypnosis session or at least 10-15 minutes to help your body relax.
- Deep pressure stimulation: Using a weighted blanket or wearing more layers to simulate that weighted grounding feel. Great locations are the back of the neck/shoulders area and chest.
- Sound therapy: Play a low-stimulation song you enjoy (ideally without lyrics) on repeat. Repetition can feel safe and regulating to the brain. I personally listen to two jazz songs on repeat, that are slow and gentle.
These are just a few options. I highly recommend combing them if it feels supportive and safe to you. Even just pairing a couple can make a notable difference.
During your hypnosis session, allow thoughts to come up naturally. I encourage you to say affirming or supportive statements to yourself out loud if it feels good to you. Engaging your voice can help deepen the experience and reinforce what you’re focusing on :]
Consistency matters more than intensity. Even once a week for 15–60 minutes can be supportive. Around 30 minutes is a great goal, but 15 minutes is still effective. It really depends on your environment, your body, and how long it takes for you to feel safe and relaxed.
And please, if you ever try some of the techniques or tips I send, feel free to let me know how it went! I love hearing feedback and about your experiences 🫶🏾

⭐ Artist Spotlight
This month, we're highlighting Jesse Reyez!

All of her music isn’t “affirmations music” per say, but Jesse creates music that’s bold, emotional, and unapologetically real. Her sound moves between softness and fire, with lyrics that cut deep and stay with you. In light of her song being added to the playlist this month, I wanted to give her a spotlight. She’s been rolling out lots of empowering music!
